John knows everything there is to know about metal roofing. He is professional and most importantly honest. We feel comfortable calling him if we have any issues with our roof. He suggested several upgrades and repairs that will make our roof last for many years to come. He has been back to our house to recommend gutters for an area where the water was hitting the house. The crew was honest and helpful and did a great job protecting the house and cleaning up after the job. This work ethic is hard to find these days! Craig made the trip up from Phoenix to view our aging asphalt-shingle roof and spent the time to really explain and demonstrate the differences in metal roofing types and quality, and the particular differences in Vertex’s installation methods versus those of others.  He really sold me on the quality workmanship to expect from Vertex, and made sure all of my (many) questions were answered.  Also, our rainwater catchment system would greatly benefit from a metal roof. The meeting was pleasant and educational but we ultimately did not purchase one due to the cost, which far outstripped my upper-end expectations based on other ballpark range estimates I had read about while researching metal roofs on the internet (no doubt partly due to our roof’s size and our desire for standing seam). I would highly recommend Vertex however; they do some very impressive work!
